In The Abundance of Water the Fool is Thirsty

The title of this blog has been going through my head for several weeks now. I write it on my dry erase board at home and say it to myself a lot. I feel it has so much to offer us. The answers are so simple and that is why many struggle to understand because they are that clear and obvious. Have you ever been around a new born baby? I am fortunate enough to have Ruby in my life, whom I was able to be with all weekend. The love that radiates off her is so contagious, I can hardly believe it. I miss her so much and thinking about her makes my little heart ache. As I held her in my arms gazing at the full moon and dancing to Tom Marshall's "Skip the Goodbyes" I realized that her contentment was partly due to the love I was able to share with her. Give and share your love, but don't hurt yourself in doing so, give only as much as one is willing to receive. It isn't so much about looking for someone to reciprocate, however when you find that, it is surely something to cherish...like is the case with Ruby. I just mean that if one can not receive your love it can hurt your own soul. I have had to learn this lesson many times. I want to give so much love to someone that must not be able or willing to receive it from me, and that is okay so long as the lesson is learned. I have been on both sides of that coin in my life. Treasure the love when it is present. Thank you Ruby Malin, for sharing and receiving the love. Good night
