In the infinity of my life all is perfect, whole and complete. I choose to think and speak the words of beauty and truth. I take time daily to meditate, breathe deeply, affirm a positive, prosperous life and humbly give thanks for this precious moment on earth. At the center of my being is an infinite well of love and I allow this well to flow in every area of my life. I love and accept myself therefore I freely choose to connect with the earth by eating plant-based, living, cultured, enzyme-rich foods. I exercise my body out in nature creating a flexible flow through out my entire life. I am able to see through the eyes of the Creator as I exchange judgment for compassion and look upon a forgiven world. Forgiveness allows me to be free now. It is with this declaration that I am able to operate from conscious awareness and serve in higher purpose. What we seek is a new and a different way of life. In the shadow of Blue Hand are spiritual distractions and resistances. As you hit 'growth edges', you can experience issues and resistance to revealing your true beauty and power. On your path, you will always be offered access to tools and further initiations. Think back to a time when you were offered such a gift, to a time when you embarked on a new quest or possibility. If you take on too much, you may become too pressured and scattered to finish. You may also relish the creative process but lose motivation because of hidden issues or what appears as the hard work required to finish. Completion becomes easier if you allow yourself to be excited and satisfied by the steps along the way.

Another shadow of Blue Hand is not having the desire and discipline needed to master a tool (such as meditation, healing, or some aspect of the creative arts). It is important to remember that committment, focused intent, and openness are all necessary to the acquisitions of any new skill.

A related shadow of Blue Hand is in believing that the tool has the power. However, tools are simply vehicles for your connection with the Divine. Do you think your ability to access information using such things as tarot cards and astrology charts come from the symbols or system? The tool simply provides a means for you to focus, to open to the truth being revealed through the metaphor. If you are overidentified and attached to your tools - books, crystals, symbols, systems and so on - you may believe the power is outside yourself. Open to the clarity of your mystical nature. White Wind is the galactic wind, the catalyzing current, the Spirit that moves through all things. It is the divine breath that gives life to all creation, the unseen essence of solar energy. White Wind also embodies the concept of presence. Presence is an expression of beingness, a creator of intimacy. It has to do with being wise in your simplicity. From simple beingness, your true identity emerges. Presence is being open, aware, and in the now. Presence is 'being there' for whatever is.

Think back to a time when someone looked deeply into your eyes, acknowledging your beingness with their full presence. Remember how wonderful and intimate that felt. When you wnat to be intimate with someone, become equally open, aware, and present. When you bring your awareness into the present moment, everything else falls away. When you are fully present, your mind is not preparing responses to what it is hearing while you're listening and feeling. Drop your evaluating and reactive nature. Trust that your heart will have the appropriate response when the time comes. Allow your mind to be quietly responsive, like a pool of water, natural in its unconditional acceptance of the moment.

Presence is simple. It is like being caught in the moment by the beauty of nature. Presence is your natural state of being. When you are present, your heart feels open, charged, full. When you are present, whether alone or with another, you are loose and relaxed. Time may seem to slow down. You can expand your awareness with ease, allowing yourself to truly see and be seen. You let your feelings speak through your eyes, and the 'feeling channel' in you breathes freely, without expectation or judgement.

Another gift offered through White Wind is the integration of polarities within you. Polarity is the loom on which reality is strung, the magnetic dance of universal forces playing in grand cooperation. But polarity is also an important alchemical process used in the transmutation of form and matter. We are not poised in a time when duality is transforming into unity. The polarities held in relationships, our male and female aspects - even the manifestation of karma - are all changing. We are moving into a time when the polar aspectrs of all things are coming together in truth. You are the creative field for the integration of the larger pattern of duality. The Maya had a special relationship to Venus because of its "unified polarity," seen in the ability to transform itself from the morning star to the evening star. As we unite our polarities (which can be seen as our male and female aspects), we mirror the divine feminine and masculine aspects that are presently uniting in order to birth the consciousness of the divine child within us. This unification is a state of wholeness that frees and enhances, permeating our beings on all levels.

Getting in touch with your male and female aspects and how you perceive them is an integral part of the alchemical process that brings them harmony. You can begin the process of integrating polarities through an increased understanding of the awareness in both sides of your body. The Dragonfly

Today I went to the gardens of the world and was engulfed with many exotic dragonfly's near the meditation gazebo. The bamboo forest encloses the area with a majestic feeling. My meditation there intrigued me to recognize the Dragonfly. It was a beautiful article I found on the Kelly Heinz-Grundner Brain Tumor Foundation site that I felt relevant to post here today July 9th, 2009. In many cultures, the dragonfly is regarded as a symbol of light, adaptability, grace and transformation. It is no wonder that the dragonfly holds out its wings so straight and proud. Not only is it one of the most brilliant and beautiful insects, but it is also rich with meaning too!

This ability to reflect and refract light is responsible for the dragonfly's status as a "light-bearer," as well as a symbol of all the power and presence that is associated with light and love. Dragonflies remind us that we, too, are "light-bearers" and silently encourage us to let our own light shine forth. In addition, dragonflies exhibit the many colors of life. With maturity, the dragonfly's own true colors come forth, as it learns to bend, shift and adapt light in a variety of ways. These bright colors take time to develop, but are always worth the wait because they ultimately reveal the insect's deepest inner beauty. The dragonfly demonstrates the utmost adaptability and grace as well. No bird or other insect has the flight maneuverability of the dragonfly, which can quickly change directions when necessary. They are experts at going where they need to be and doing what they need to do. Traditionally, the dragonfly is the symbol of transformation and life's ever-constant process of change. Although the dragonfly spends the majority of its life on the bottom of a pond as a larva, it always rises above that. The dragonfly works its way through the weight of water and into the sunlight, gathering and garnering what it needs to change and unfold. When it is ready, it sheds its protective casing and flies away from the pond, to ultimately unite with other dragonflies, which have also completed their transformation and are even more vibrant and alive.

But then, the yogis also say that if you want to make especially fast progress clearing Karma, you should engage in Raja Yoga, the practice of meditation. Now think about this, how does sitting on your butt, doing something we call meditation relate to being out in the world, having all these painful experiences in order to exhaust your Karma. How can I possibly clear Karma just going inside myself when Karma means the need to have certain experiences?

I didn't understand this for a long time in my personal practice, until about ten years ago. I first learned to meditate in the late '60's, but what I was doing was suppressive meditation. If a bad feeling came up, I thought I was having a bad meditation - I had no way to release it. I was finally taught that if I work with my feelings in certain ways in meditation, I will clear those feelings and make it unnecessary to attract the events to bring up the feelings - I will clear my Karma. This was a major turning point in my life, and can be for you also if you resonate with what I've been saying. This is what Emotional Clearing is all about, and what I describe in detail in the book.

I think there's a general agreement among therapists today that releasing trapped feelings is the essence of therapy. There are other purposes, of course, such as understanding and validating needs, strengthening the ego-self, building boundaries, getting the support of the therapist. But once we understand and agree that the primary purpose is to release feelings, it becomes apparent how we could do what we could call self-therapy. And when we see that life is bringing up our suppressed feelings to be released, we have a new and radical view of life. It's no longer: why is this happening to me, why can't things go right, what did I do to deserve this, or even, what did I do in some past life to deserve this, but instead, it's thank you. Thank you for showing me what I need to work on, thank you for bringing up these feelings in me, thank you for the free therapy. I'm going to use these circumstances for growth.

It's not what you did, it's not that you are being punished. It's just that you didn't release the feelings. The feelings have built up and are attracting events and people to you. These are all opportunities for growth through releasing the feelings. This is one of the reasons for life on the material plane, if not the main reason. Clearing feelings is all that's necessary, you don't have to reprogram yourself for success or goals. If you release trapped unworthiness, self-esteem is there; if you release resentment and isolation, love is there. It's just a question of releasing the feelings.

It exists in my thoughts, a place where people go to feel warmth, to feel productive, maybe to feel a little love, inspiration, culture, coziness, eccentricity, familiarity, peace, aesthetics...whatever the feeling it is one that is positive. This store front cafe amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy main street in the town of my choosing encompasses many attributes. The windows are illuminated with white lights and the front door is solid with an old brass lion handle. My feet brush acrossed something and it is the New York Times, the paper that the delivery boy has dropped off. I unlock the door and step into a sea of amazing aromas, coffees from all over the world in big wooden barrels, coffee sacks are hung on parts of the wall as well as photos that are rich and intriguing. It is a worldly yet localized space. The guest book at the front of the house allows for people to feel heard and introduce themselves. There are two beautiful wine choices on a tap enomatic machine system and they correspond with the different breads and cheeses offered. The aesthetics of the food offerings, the gourmet worldly desserts create a richness and fulfillment that actually fills one up just by looking at it. It fills the senses in a way. The plates are made from local potter's perhaps. The mugs are uniquely chosen, the wine glasses are the best of the best with functionality being a key component. The music is creating a sense of oneness, it is a fluidness that makes the place what it is. The hard wood floor creeks as you walk across it creating a vintage like character. The furniture is worldly including pieces from China, Indo, Nepal, Brazil..you name it. The space is created for all that would like to experience a world that fulfills all the senses and allows one to create, a space to dream and be. And so it is.

Have you ever experienced a fine ristretto type shot of espresso? This encompasses many variables that we can examine. One particular variable is the grind setting. If we are in a humid place this is more crucial. The air allows the beans to expand and contract. Our water temperature is also of importance. The oils of the bean bind with the pure heated water. It is important for us to note that in a ristretto type shot we are creating a fine carmel like liquid that comes out evenly and consistently over about 18-21 seconds of time. This is very important. You want enough liquid in each shot in order for the essence to come through. We can examine the end result by seeing the crema on the top and how it is cohesively binded and just exquisite. If you have a beautiful espresso machine like a Twin Star II stainless steel double grouphead with two steam wands you are in a great place to produce this type of shot. I remember when I first got my twin start II from Monaco, Italy..it was like Christmas morning. I had the machine program to say Aloha every time I walked into create with it in the morning. My customers only received premium quality and fine ristretto shots. I served Americano's in place of drip coffees. This was well received by my clients. We can also note that this machine allows you to put the cup underneath the group head so you are able to allow the liquid to go uninterrupted. This is a superior quality in a fine epresso machine. I would like to note that the art of constructing a fine demitasse of espresso pays a real respect to the growers and farmers who do fine work in order to grow and produce coffee. I have worked on coffee farms in the area of Honaunau, Hawaii about 7 1/2 years ago. This experience allowed me to see the art from the very beginning and we can deliver this in the end cup. I suggest serving this espresso in a demitasse cup with saucer and spoon/lemon twist and or if you are creating a macchiato or other fine coffee drink you can use beautiful mugs created by artists around the world. I like to collect mugs from around the world and note the essence that went into these creations.

It is good to be here in this physical body and in so feeling this way I have brought myself to this new experience which I am thoroughly enjoying. I almost feel like I am creating my own "Never Ending Story," remember that movie? If you could just see where I am sitting right now. I was moved to a room at the retreat center that has its own hammock out on the patio, a bath tub, a nice mattress and better linens, a pedistool sink and plenty of shade. Above my room I discovered a library, a library with hard wood floors and lots of old, old books. There is never anyone in here except me. It is a dodecagon shaped building. The room is set up with a big wooden coffee table in the middle and 2 chairs and 2 couches. There is a big chalk board on one wall and tonight I walked over to it barefoot and wrote the name, SETH. There is something to the elevation here. I can sit and enjoy so much from this space. It sits above the grassy fields and just below the lanai. I see it as a hidden gem. It has been over 2 months that I have been here and it is almost never spoken of. I feel it is very sacred space. I come here every day now. I have past over the books a few times and each time this certain one has presented itself to me. I was about to grab it and then started to walk away and then took a second glance and slowly pulled it from the shelf. The title is, The Way Toward Health, A Seth Book. Hmmm, I said to myself, I have heard of this entity SETH before. And it is so that Jerry and Esther speak of Seth. I am glad to have brought this book into my experience. It is well weathered and I am enjoying what it is bringing me to understand about the physical body and many other ideas.

Horses may be able to show us the way back to ourselves. Their hearts are thirteen times larger by weight than the average man and over 20 times larger than the average woman’s heart. They do not toil over what happened yesterday or even five minutes ago. Many ancient and modern spiritual belief systems are based on “living in the present”. Some of us spend a lifetime trying to embody this principal. Horses seem to demonstrate it effortlessly.
In the human body, the heart is the beginning point of communication that connects emotional and mental systems. Heart rhythms affect physical health, emotional well-being and mental acuity – all three of which can be enhanced or depleted depending on how the heart "thinks". The heart intuition we need to recapture comes through thoughts, images or feelings. Anyone that has worked with horses from a compassionate perspective will tell you that horses think and “speak” in images. Their brain breaks down the images into different frequencies. They are so sensitive to unique frequencies being emitted by humans they essentially and efficiently mirror the outside world. They have the ability to decipher emotions in humans that may be displayed as an attitude shift or a minute change in posture.

An Evening in the Tree House

The love I received was incredulous yesterday and the more I resonate with love the more I see the infinite possiblities. A night of my own creation I spent a magical night in the Tree House here at Kalani. The effort was minimal. This is once again a demonstration of true love.
Weeks ago I had been telling myself that I would be staying in the Tree House here and I believed it with out a doubt. As weeks went by I did mention to a few key individuals that I was interested in taking a bath soon. And with that one effortless action a domino of events occured which led me to a Goddess experience in the ultimate Tree House. I was asked by one of the shift leaders if instead of just taking a bath I might want to stay in one of the Tree Houses of my choosing. I say Yes Yes Yes. Then as it continued to unfold I was offered a lighter and candles, another brought me fresh towels/sheets, it was magic and effortless.
I had an elegant meal by candle light and a world music compilation gifted to me the day before. I enjoyed a shrimp penne, portabellos, caesar salad and bruschetta. I was able to make up a bath with candles in a sexual sacred Goddess performance. The room was huge with plenty of airflow on every side of the room and the bed was big enough to lay diagonal. I had a sacred night of celebrating pura vida, the pure life. I spoke positve thought patterns and reflected on a creation of my choosing.

I see myself attracting only those who are in harmony with my current intent.

Today Lulu sets off on an enchanted adventure up Mauna Loa where she encounters many Fairies and Goblins. As she gains way up the mountain side to the top of the river mouth she rests in a near by cabin where many tools are buried underneath the structure. She is enjoying this huge play island and remembers that the point of power is always in the present moment. That is fun to remember. Along her trails she encounters a huge bath tub made out of amazonite and she fills it with exotic ancient clays, living water, fairies, and enjoys a purifying soak. Feeling the Body to Optimal Health

I find that a great practice of self worth, appreciation and taking care of the body is to massage it after a shower. I use a good, pure coconut oil and massage and feel each body part, speaking aloud and saying how much I thank it for being beautiful and performing optimally and loving each part and being present with that practice. It is amazing how your body responds over a little time of doing this. Massaging allows for better circulation and flow. We can even massage the organs or run our hands over parts of the body feeling the energy flow in areas. Maybe in one area it is more strong than the other. We can visualize spreading this energy evenly and allowing it to flow like a whirlpool.

My self-worth is very strong.

A recent creation with Jah's love present.

The green sand represents the tears of our Goddess Pele and can be used in healing certain obstacles. I recently felt compelled to go to this beach to obtain some of this sand for a specific healing intention. Although I decided to spend my time at another beach I will say that this next writing is proof of our ability to have something brought to us if we desire it with pure feeling and no attachment. My desire for this green sand occured about two days ago. Yesterday a new friend was present here at the property. I felt an urge to say hello to him. This brother opened up to me very quickly and cried a bit sharing his truth of how the land here has healed him. I give thanks for brother Steve's open heart. So today at breakfast Steve came over to the table where I was eating and handed another friend a coffee bag. Inside the bag were the green stones/sand from this mystical beach I speak of. How enchanted I was to see that creation came about and so quickly. I now have a nice amount of these healing granules in my room where I can sift them through my fingers. I look forward to creating a miniature zen garden out of them.

I am constantly increasing my income, I prosper wherever I turn. My Chronicles, my wood boxes, my creative writing, my essence, my intuitive guidance all create endless avenues of financial support. I trust the process of life to be there for me. I am there for the process of life. I get to do the things I love to do and they create endless abundance for me. I have a clean, clear mind and see my self worth and self confidence in all that I do. I love my life. I have the best soulmate ever whom supports and loves me through high tide and low tide. My mental garden has been plucked of all the weeds and is now fertile, organic soil. I am planting exoctic flowers all over the place, beautiful butterflies are drawn to my garden. They assist me in seeing my beauty and I see there's. We are reflections of pure love. I have a rock in my garden that is a solid foundation for me to rest when i want to. It is there for me to know that it is safe to rest and give thanks accepting love in those times that it is most wanted by my soul. I now take full responsibility for all that I feel, say and do. I listen to what other's say and speak my truth knowing it is perfectly okay to be me. I only align with those that are for my highest self and I in the same way support those individuals. I see only the good in others and feel there pure intentions easily. Others only feel and here my pure intentions. I am able to communicate with unconditional love. I feel safe to be me. I love and approve of myself, I am magnificent.

Notes: It is important for me to note that forgiveness, self worth and the fact that the point of power is in the present are key in my above entry.

Also key is that Prosperity involves the Quality of our lives as well as any amount of money that we possess. Prosperity is not defined by money alone. It is representing time, love, success, joy, comfort, beauty, and wisdom.

I have started to create a art/science dance technique. I think I might call it Creating Fusion. Yesterday at one of these ancient Hawaiian beaches I started to perfect it in a way, however it is still a process.

Two days or so ago gave away one of my selenite wands to a brother from Canada named Evon. Went into downtown Hilo to pick up more cell food utilizing a trade exchange. Give thanks. Then was going to meet a friend whom was looking for a chess board. I had a feeling to walk down the road to find him. Walked into an art studio and a woman was there. I asked her about antique shops in the area. She gave me a card and it had no address. We got in the car and drove to a different area of Hilo. The card name matched the antique shop right in front of us. Outside was a beautiful leather horse saddle. (note another horse connection). We went into find an older man sitting at the table. He did indeed have a few chess boards however they were in the other antique shop a door or two down. Little did I realize what would be waiting for me in the antique shop. Sitting on a dresser was a selenite wand, bigger and more fully charged than the one I gave away. There was no price on it. I negotiated a trade for money $20 dollars.

The Goddess of Atlantis

Her name was Lumeria and some called her LuLu as a child. She was enchanted by the Caribbean and living in harmony with the community. Lulu was an incredible swimmer and some believed that she turned into a Mermaid when she got into the water. Her days were filled with exploration. At the time when Atlantis was under distress Lumeria did her best to save it from destruction. She utilized her crystal wand of selenite in this attempt as well as Larimar. During this time Lumeria past on into a new life which brought her to earth. Lulu rebirthed here to remember her compassionate and loving life on Atlantis. She has created another story and has brought both selenite, larimar and dolphin dancing into her life to remember the days in Atlantis. The healing waters of the Watsu Pool have begun to heal her anxiety of the water. The larimar has brought her in touch with her soulmate and the selenite keeps Lulu connected to other dimensions. It is all through the vortex of the Hawaiian Islands that her memories have come back. By making the choice to live in community individuals from the community have reminded her of her Goddess nature, her deep love for Atlantis and how she tried to save it and her Mermaid like self. A Day at the Spa of My Creation

Today is a beautiful day at Kalani. I woke with the intent to make it a relaxing spa/exercise day and that it has been indeed. I woke thinking I was going to go for a run and as sheets of rain came pouring down my body nestled back into the sleep state and I was refreshed with the pitter patter of the rain. I went to breakfast and had some yogurt, fruit, amazon bliss and cacao, yummy. Then off to Yin Yoga taught by David whom is just amazing. What a great class and it was his Birthday too! After Yoga I was nice and stretched out and took a jog down the ocean view path and gave thanks for the shadows from the sun, the beauty of the monkey pods and the greens growing wildly throughout the property. As I returned I headed to lunch with a bamboo wrapper and nori wraps to make some veggie sushi rolls. I sat and enjoyed conversation with some friends and then off to the pool. I brought french green clay mask and Meghan brought avocado and banana. A few of us created a nice spa treatment pool side with these ingredients, aahhh life is the best here. The rest of the day looks like, a smoothie of coconut, papaya and some maca maybe, then more yoga and possibly a watsu pool treatment. What a day off!

Sweat Lodge Experience on the 24th day of August 2008

A sacred night for me indeed I had the pleasure to enjoy this play land known as Kalani through a sweat lodge ceremony. Just after dinner Zoe and I went back to her A frame and opened the coconuts we harvested with some machette's placed them in large glass jars to take to the sweat and share. Our offerings were shared with love, respect and friendship. As we walked to the lodge with the light of my headlamp a light rain engulfed the property. With my selenite wand in hand among other glass bottles full of, coconut water, coconut meat, star fruit and papayas we headed up to the site where we would find others in the community resting around the fire allowing the stones to reach peak heat.
In my experience there were many periods of intense sweat and release. With that came the ability to breathe in graciously the breath of the creator as water singed the heated bones of earth. Our chants, mantras, offerings, prayers and blessings were well received by source. The wand created some magnetic transmissions and allowed for a deeper connection.
On my walk back with Betsy we stopped off at the pool to rinse our bodies and my selenite wand slipped from my grasp and broke in perfect halves. I realized at that moment the energy from the selenite was so great from the ceremony, so great from my wanting and so great from source providing that the split was created in perfect time. And in that moment in a safe space I was able to receive the lineage of so much wisdom and maybe only to feel in the flow with that energy not necessarily understanding it all through the mind. The wisdom is present, the moment is present, the guidance and love is presence. And this is our way.

Larimar is a relatively new and extremely rare gemstone that has been found in only one location: in a mountainous, relatively inaccessible region of the Dominican Republic overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This gemstone first surfaced in 1974, although the inhabitants of the region and their ancestors have long been aware of the stone.

Larimar is finely tuned to the human body, especially the 5th Energy Center, situated in the throat area of the body. This area is also associated with communication. This chakra holds the thymus gland, which regulates the immune system, and the thyroid gland near the trachea, which secretes a hormone to regulate growth.

Exotic Wenge Wood and its' Magical Properties

A few days ago I was headed over to the Kona side to camp at Makalawena Beach. The moon would still be quite full then and offer a beautiful light that night. And as a friend and I drove the coast of the Island I remembered that I wanted to work on my own custom machette. So I called Peter, "Jungle Man" of South Kona I gave him a call so I could grab a machette blade from him. It was in flow, met him at Coffee and Epicurea to make the exchange. I had the exact exchange amount in my bag and all is well. Next I would find that my dear friend Roger new of a place where I could get some wood to create the handle. Aloha Woods is where we went. I walked in the front door to find two friendly individuals sitting at the counter. I asked if they would sell me some scrap wood. The guy smiled and took us back into the warehouse where I was surrounded by a sea of the most amazing and powerful woods ever. I mean if you could have seen these woods. The grains and textures, the essences and flavors in the air. There was lychee wood and koa wood, there was mango wood and redheart wood. And then there was Wenge Wood. I asked as I felt this sturdy and strong wood, "where is this from?" The gentlemen told me it was from South Africa and that the blossoms on the tree were heart shaped. I took a nice slab of that along with a piece of Koa wood. And it was then that I knew I wanted to research this wood and find out all about it. As I went around touching and feeling the different woods I imagined creating a wood handle from both Koa and Wenge enscribed utilizing a dremmel tool with my mark. Wenge wood is indigenous to Tropical West Africa, a place I am wanting to go to.
The grain of Wenge looks as though an animal climbed. Not only will this make a strong and sturdy handle for my machette but I would come to learn that woods are quite magical and powerful in there properties. Wenge has the ability to give off a very relaxed energy, encouraging slow, even thought. It can be a perfect tool for meditation, especially for those who have trouble slowing their thoughts. It is also a healing wood, useful for a variety of physical as well and emotional healing applications. Worn as a pendant of some sort, this wood would could create a more even mood and centered thought. It has the ability to calm the temper and encourage learning. This wood is not for the impatient, if they hope to utilize it for quick power. I believe that the area of Tropical West Africa must play a part in this wood's ability to give off that meditative and emotional healing state. Right now the prototype to my machette handle has been cast.

Blue Mangosteen

Mangosteen is a superfruit that contains a rich nutrient base along with the potential impact for lowering risk against various diseases. Long used in Southeast Asia for its health benefits, the tropical fruit is native to areas of Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

It is similar in size to a tangerine or mandarin orange, with a dark purple/reddish rind and white flesh. Like other tropical fruits, it is multi-segmented. The taste of the fruit is sweet, similar to a plum.

However, instead of peeling a mangosteen like a tangerine, you should twist or press the fruit until it breaks apart. Uses in folk medicine of the mangosteen include cures from skin disorders to dysentery. The rind of mangosteen is used for several health conditions including diarrhea, bladder infections, gonorrhea and skin rashes. It is thought to have cooling properties, or yin.

A unique fact about mangosteens is that each contains a type of scar at one end, representative of the flower. Not only will this scar indicate how many segments the fruit contains, but also indicates the amount of seeds. Those with the most segments have fewer seeds.

Because the rind of mangosteen contains various compounds, it is considered to be an antioxidant. In laboratory studies, mangosteen contains xanthones, which when studied in test tubes have anti-cancer effects. Other health benefits may include anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties in test tube studies. However, there is no proof that these xanthones have the same effect when taken orally as when tested in a laboratory setting.

The potential side effects of mangosteen include the possibility that it may interfere with normal blood-clotting. It’s also possible that higher does of xanthones may cause sedation, especially when combined with other herbs or medication.

Because mangosteens have not been allowed to be imported legally into North America, except for Canada and Hawaii, the sale of mangosteen in the U.S. is restricted to juices which contain the fruit’s extract. The ban was due to the possibility of fruit fly infiltration. However, as of 2007, the United States Food and Drug Administration lifted the ban to allow imports of irradiated mangosteens.

When choosing a mangosteen, look for those that are dark purple or reddish purple, but not blue or black in color. Once purchased, store mangosteens at room temperature and eat within a few days. Do not freeze the fruit.

The Mango Tree

Hey All, I found this old draft from over a year ago and thought I would post it. Pretty kewl.

I woke up about an hour ago, 6:30 am on Saturday morning August 11th. I started to prepare the press pot with coffee and decided to call mom on the east coast. She was sitting on the deck with a cup of tea enjoying a beautiful morning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I got some pointer's from the Master Baker, because today I will create a carrot cake for my dear friend Ryan as he turns 31 on Monday. Today is a gorgeous day and even though overcast clouds fill the sky it is actually very enjoyable. The damp air is a soothing smell and reminds me of the air in Hawaii. In fact the mango's at the market lately have been oh so perfectly ripe. I can remember being on the island of Kauai back in the Kalalau valley with an endless supply of ripe mangos! My latest smoothie requires 2 large, perfectly ripe mango's and a bunch of organic parsley. Peeling the mango with complete ease and putting it in the blender sparked a truth. Life can be effortless flowing if you allow it. Every moment of every day can be like peeling a perfectly ripe mango. Just Be. And Be Worthy.

Yesterday there was an earthquake back in California where Joelin and Ruby are. They felt it pretty good and are safe, all is well. Joelin got the coffee and mac nuts I sent and Andy loved the name of the coffee, "speed ball bliss."

Today in Captain Cook there was a morning rain mixed with sunshine. You know what that means! A rainbow on the horizon. I got in the car and drove up the hill to see the magnificent site of the rainbow.

Then Al came by to get some thread so he could tie back some of the coffee trees that were in the driveway. We had a great new fashioned chat. I am going to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and bring them down to him and the kids.

Today I made the guests from Austria grilled turkey egg and cheeses! They were stoked.

A Day in the Life of The Dodhisattva

Let's see, today I woke up and gave thanks for being here. I put on some good tunes in the kitchen around 6am and made a splendid oatmeal with cacao butter and cacao nibs. There are two guests from Germany in this week and so I started to fix an aesthetically pleasing breakfast for them. Cinnamon pancakes with banana compote and passionfruit/papaya ala carte. They were stoked. They love the coffee from the farm and I made it extra dark.

Then I did some sit ups and arm exercises, went for a walk with weights combined with deep breathing and positive affirmations. All in all the day is flowing nicely.

I went to the market for some supplies and now I will make chocolate chip scones for tomorrow's breakfast.

Harmony in our Relationships:If we truly are seeking harmony in all of our relationships it might be good to consistently speak of them. We might say, " I see only the positive qualities in those around me and those around me only see the positive qualities in me." Or I see those around me as infinite and spectacular beings exercising their highest truth and those around me see me as a spectacular and loving being exercising my highest truth. Another great way to live this truth is to practice the art of forgiveness. We can release so many negative belief systems with this one simple process. I believe that if we really mean what we are saying connection to our inner being is consistent. When we bless our food its okay to be yourself. Add your own character, just really mean it and the universe feels it. Like for instance I was about to take a big bite of my sandwich and almost forgot to bless the food and those whom assisted the creation of it and I said bless this food! With huge "Dodee" eyes just hungry as heaven. ;) We just give thanks for our personalities and have fun with them, yeah.

Molokai Potato Soup

...Or you can call it what you like. I went to the market and picked up Daikon, Baby Bok Choy, Carrot, Molokia Sweet Potatos and/or Purple Potatoes, Garlic, Leeks, Green Onion and Miso Paste. It was fun to create this soup, lots of interesting colors and textures. Before it even comes to a boil you want to lower the heat and let it simmer for small time. This way your vegetables still retain much of their nutrient quality and of course the broth holds a lot of nutrients so drink up.

Breaking the cleanse today with fresh squeezed orange juice around 11am and then into the soup. I feel great. Food has knew meaning!

We can play our favorite music while creating in the kitchen or bless the food or just do it in a loving way. We might even do Reiki on certain foods to raise their vibration. A lot of times this serene approach may encourage you to be artfully tasteful in your food preparation. This is a profound idea, food noursishes all of our senses and when we give thanks for the food and those involved in the process as our body receives this invigorating energy.

Top of The Afternoon! Today is the 7th day of my Master Cleanse mission and things are going well. I have accomplished so much creative thought over the past few days and have been awakened to new ideas that connect with my highest visions. I am grateful for this cleanse and that I have honored my body in giving it a rest. I was able to harvest my own organic lemons from a friend's farm at 2200 feet elevation here in South Kona. I am using raw, local, organic honey because I feel it is a vital superfood. I have utilized the sacred shilajit in some of my elixirs through out the cleanse and it has assisted in breaking up the fats along the intestinal walls. This is really a clear and inspiring time for me. I am giving thanks for the best day ever.

A LETTER FROM PAGE 06.26.08

Given the volume of speculation and rumors that have bubbled up recently, I have been asked to make a statement…Here goes.

For me, the last four years have been great. I’ve spent quality time with my family and have watched my daughter grow. I took great pleasure and pride in writing and recording an album. I’m living a healthy lifestyle. I travel as little as possible and I sleep in my own bed. It took a couple of years after the break up to begin talking to my old band mates, but once the conversations began to flow it wasn’t long before the friendships were rekindled. And I can honestly say that I’m closer with all of them now then I’ve ever been in our 20-year relationship.

Recently the conversations have turned toward the possibility of spending some time together. Currently many of us have plans and projects already in the works, most notably Mike, who made a great album and is about to hit the road in support of it. Given that I might not even see some of the guys for the next six months, I would say that the announcement of a reunion is premature. However, later this year we hope to spend some time together and take a look at what possible futures we might enjoy. In fact the only real decision that has been made is that when we do get together, it will only be the four of us, hopefully with no distractions. I am really looking forward to that.

I want to say just a few more things. The prospect of Phish reuniting is something I consider very seriously, and I think about it a lot. And lastly, as always, there is plenty of misinformation floating around. Try not to focus too much on secondhand sources and random gossip. If there is anything real to announce, it will come from the four of us as a group.

Oh boy, the lava is flowing more than ever. Actually National Geographic was out on the cliffs of where it was flowing doing a photo shoot. A boat was up really close to the oozing lava and as it hit the water splashes of red filled the air. We could see the vent from the road quite nicely as we took the highway from Captain Cook. Quite a difference in air quality on the other side. The vog is creating some challenges on this side and so for more than just that reason I will be headed to move over to the other side in August. It will be a good transition and my healing work can be continued with a clear space. The opportunities are endless and the abundance is all over the place. As I was picking fruit on the farm today, especially Papayas I looked over at a macadamia nut tree and the supply was endless. Visualization is a really good thing for creating prosperity and abundance. Imagine the ocean spanning across the island or imagine the sand granules etc...whatever resonates. I used cacao butter to make the papaya pancakes this morning, holy smokes..that is genius. I can't wait to make them in the food dehydrator one of these days, now your talking.

Life is an endless supply of all that we could ever imagine. There is so much for everyone and all is well.

Coconuts are Life

Coconut is the healthiest food/medicine you can put inside your body. Coconuts have more electrolytes than any other fruit, vegetable or natural source on Planet Earth. Coconut is a miraculous food/medicine. Coconuts have, and to this day still do, saved many lives all over the world (for hundreds of years.) Coconut water is the same as human blood plasma, and has been used as plasma for blood transfusions, etc in many countries and islands throughout the world.

Clinical studies have shown that organic, fresh coconut water, coconut milk and virgin coconut oil have the most natural and efficient antimicrobial and antiviral properties and is even now being used in the treatment of AIDS patients; studies conducted in the Phillipines in 2002 showed that coconut and its virgin oil does indeed reduce the viral load in AIDS patients.

Lauric acid is a medium-chain fatty acid, which is abundant in coconut oil and is considered responsible for many of its health benefits. Virgin coconut oil is 55% lauric acid. The only other abundant source found in nature is in human breast milk. Lauric acid is a medium-chain fatty acid which has the additional beneficial function of being formed into monolaurin in human and animal bodies. Monolaurin is the antiviral, antibacterial and antiprotozoal monoglyceride used by humans to destroy lipid-coated viruses such as HIV, herpes, cytomegalovirus, influenza, various pathogenic bacteria including listeria monocytogenes, heliopacter pylori and protozoa such as giardia lambia, etc.

Coconut water is the only replacement for human and animal blood. Coconut water saves many lives all over the world. Coconut water is used for blood transfusions, etc.

Coconuts have the most healing benefits for our body. Coconuts awaken the five senses including the third-eye, cleanse the colon, cleanse the liver, cleanse the blood – basically, coconut water and milk cleanse the whole body! Coconut trees should not be spiked, stabbed, cut or harmed in any way whatsoever. Coconut trees are sensitive and are capable of getting sick. Coconut trees live to the age of 100-150 years. Coconut trees can also die from tree disease and is contagious to other coconut trees. There is a vaccine for this disease, which helps the trees to be stronger, and prevent them from dying and sickness. Phillip the Coconut Protector is one of the coconut doctors in the Hawaiian islands; he lives on Maui.

A brilliant yellow coconut, the King Coconut, is cultivated on the grounds of many Eastern temples and is often used in ceremonies. Often temples have only one King Coconut tree, which can be identified by the bright yellow color of the coconuts.

Coconuts and coconut trees are very strong and can withstand winds as strong as 170 mph. Coconut trees are also very flexible. Believe it or not, coconuts drop from trees, killing people more often than sharks do! Each year, coconuts kill an average of 25 people in the Caribbeans (such as Trinidad & Tobago)

There are three subgroups of fatty acids: short (C2-C6), medium (C8-C12) and long (C14-C24) chain fatty acids. The medium-chain fats are found exclusively in lauric oils. Research indicated that monoglycerides but not di- or triglycerides were more active than non-esterified fatty acids. The greatest antibacterial activity was with the medium-chain and saturated fatty acids having 12 carbon atoms. Among the saturated fatty acids, lauric acid has the maximum antiviral activity, medium chain lipids.

Coconut oil, monolaurin (Lauricidin®) have positive effects in AIDS patients. Virgin coconut oil reduces HIV, which spreads AIDS. Thanks to lauric acid, the basis of monolaurin and sodium lauryl sulfate which were found as the active chemicals promising in controlling HIV. “4 tablespoons of coconut oil a day keeps viruses at bay, “ Dr. Corado Dayrits says. HIV is a lipid-coated virus like the SARS coronavirus. The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil simply breath the virus apart because they mimic the fatty acids of the virus coating (called lipid membrane). The antimicrobial medium-chain fatty acids are readily absorbed by the unsuspecting virus, weakening its protective membrane until it breaks apart, killing the virus. Coconut oil has been found to destroy most STD bacteria and strains of HIV. Coconut oil removes the bacteria, which causes ulcers, etc.

The Coconut Board of India reports the numerous medicinal properties of tender coconut water as: blood plasma, blood transfusions, good for infants suffering from intestinal disturbances, oral rehydration, contains growth promoting organic compounds, keeps the body cool. Application on the body prevents prickly heat and summerboils and subsides the rashes caused by smallpox, chicken pox, measles, etc. It kills intestinal worms.

The presence of saline and albumin in coconut makes it a good drink for cholera cases. It checks urinary infections and is an excellent tonic for the old and sick. It also cures malnutrition, etc.

Koa Wood

Indigenous to the Hawaiian Islands, Koa wood is naturally occurring on this amazing Island and nowhere else. In history it was said that the Koa wood was utilized for creating canoes and such. I am finding out it is friendly for carving and also takes a stain very nicely. This could be great for Dodhisattva Designs and the legendary "Surrender to the Flow" wine box. Now to find the wood worker, interestingly enough I met Daniel yesterday at the pub whom is a local wood worker.

Here at the Edge the floor is made of 100% Koa wood along with the cabinetry. It is gorgeous, the grain, texture and color is eye appealing.

Meeting Phoenix was a joyous experience. It was like I had met him before. Being pulled to the Dragonfly Ranch through some mystical world I was able to enjoy all that the ranch has to offer. The labrynth, genuine conversation, bright colors, two miniature dogs, healthy food, and all the comforts that I enjoy while in this sacred vortex.
As our chat unfolded Phoenix and I had started to discuss a Chocolate truffle project that would become the royal chocolate with the life power of Shilajit in it. Sounds like a fairytale;)

You gotta have a good vibe. Live if you want to live. And so another day for this young, eccentric writer living in south kona and always enjoying stimulation I went out to grab a burger or somethin';) I just really was feeling it. And I stopped at this one spot that I heard was pretty irie. And then for some reason I got there and it didn't seem like the spot for the night. I drove down the hill and remembered something about a bar called Corner Pocket, Jackie mentioned. I went in and got exactly what I wanted, a locals feel. No guards up, just real open people either enjoying a beer after a long day at work or contemplating life or looking for something to do. You had all kinds and it was fun for me. Not an every night thing, but good to connect with that authenticity yea? Approached by a few people I enjoyed conversation and the feel of a good old small town. I drank my sierra and ate with a light heart.

Today I went in search of the rest of the coconuts Peter harvested. As Junko and I were getting in the car Peter was pulling into the beach to check the waves. Brother mon had jackfruit in the back and so he took his irie machette and hooked it up for us. I asked if he knew where I could acquire royal quality cacao butter and sure enough he had the hook up with McKenna in town. We drove there where McKenna and his ital friends were. He had just got fresh butter from the other side along with goji berries, maca, cacao pods, cuban bananas, and list goes on and on of vital foods. I hooked them up with shilajit and we had an exchange of goods and it was in the flow. Peter was sharing coconuts with his friends and being alkaline as usual:). I am stoked to know McKenna and this wonderful connection and resource.

A Blood Transfer with Coconut Water

Yesterday I had the pleasure to meet up with Peter again after 7 years. I saw him on the beach at Ke'e. I said, "You're Peter ya?" And sure enough it was him, funny how you remember a face. He is the coconut warrior around here so we went in search of some potent coconut water to create a real blood transfusion and feed the body with electrolytes. So fun! And it was then documented, June 23rd 2008 that Rawstagirl climbed her first coconut tree and retrieved a few coconuts. And even split them open utilizing the forces of a rock. We drank and drank coconut water and ate some of the royal meet. We walked back with handfuls of coconuts across the blazing a'a(or lava rock)and Peter jumped in the water for some refreshing synergy from the ocean mon. It was stoke to see Peter again and have a fun day playing at the beach. Peter sells Royal, Brazilian coconut tools as wells as Irie Machette's and custom Kua wood handles that he will engrave for you too! I was giving thanks to the flow for us connecting again and getting the vital lesson of coconut harvesting.

Today I got dropped off at the market and walked home with supplies for the Bed and Breakfast. The day was calm and relaxing. The Hen is still sitting on her baby egg, it will be a joy when it hatches. I guest asks, "What do you do all day?" Jackie comments, "You're looking at it," as we were resting on the lania. Myself in the hammock with a book and jackie reading in a chair. Mostly the day consists of getting up at 6:30 am. Junko is usually up and I here the sound of her sprinkle cat food in the bowl. The roosters are up on the hour and I quite like it, its peaceful to me. I start the kona coffee and we get ready to serve the guests eggs or french toast or pancakes. I may get creative and make a quiche this week. There are chores to be done and always a part of the house to work on or tidy up. There is plenty of time for contemplation, reading, exercise, play and just sitting with each other enjoying the space, the heavy rains at mid day and another pot of farm coffee.

How to Use KangenTM Water

The Enagic KangenTM Ionized Water Generator technology produces seven different types of
water...three different levels of alkaline KangenTM Drinking Water, Clean Water, Beauty Water, Strong
Alkaline Water and Strong Acidic Water. Although KangenTM water has special properties...it does not
cure anything. It has however, been shown to assist the body in creating better balance or homeostasis.
To help achieve this homeostasis I’ve found the approaches and information listed below to be helpful.
Getting Started Drinking KangenTM Water
It is recommended that everyone who chooses to drink KangenTM water start by drinking the 8.5 pH
water. The KangenTM water is obtained by pushing the blue button on the front of the machine.
Multiple pushes will move you through the three different levels of the KangenTM water that are
produced. This water is dispensed through the TOP flexible hose.
Drink at least 1⁄2 of your body weight in ounces each day. If you do physically demanding work,
participate in strenuous athletics, or are dealing with “sickness issues”...you need to drink more
KangenTM water to help your body move towards and achieve homeostasis. In these situations, it is
recommended that you drink at least 3⁄4 of your body weight in ounces, and drinking 1 ounce per pound
of body weight per day produces real “miracles”. It is my observation that those people who drink a
minimum of 3⁄4 of their body weight in ounces of KangenTM water per day see the quickest results.
After successfully drinking the suggested amount of 8.5 pH water for two weeks (“successfully” means
that you are not experiencing any discomfort while drinking the water...other than frequency of
urination), then you may choose to increase the water pH level up to the 9.0 pH setting. Continue
drinking the suggested amount of water at this setting each day for at least two more weeks.
After successfully drinking the suggested amount of 9.0 pH water (again meaning that you are not
experiencing any discomfort while drinking the water other than frequency of urination) then you may
choose to increase the water pH level up to the 9.5 pH setting.
Cleansing Symptoms
Occasionally we find people that experience “cleansing” symptoms. These are typically caused by the
body releasing stored toxins and acidic wastes. If you experience any “cleansing” types of symptoms
(such as headaches, skin eruptions, loose bowels, coughing, etc.) when you start on the 8.5 pH water,
then you should increase the amount of water you are drinking to help neutralize and flush the toxins
from your system. If you experience these symptoms after increasing the pH of the water you are
consuming, then go back to the last pH setting that you were able to drink without experiencing these
symptoms and increase the amount of water that you consume until these symptoms stop. There is no
prize for getting to the 9.5 pH water quicker than someone else.
Using the “other” waters produced by the technology
Clean Water – is neutral 7.0 pH water that is obtained by pushing the green button on the Enagic
ionizer. The Clean water is dispensed through the TOP flexible hose. This water has been through the

How to Use KangenTM Water
cleaning filter portion of the system but it has not gone through the electrolysis process. This is the
water that should be consumed when taking prescription medication. When taking prescription
medications: discontinue drinking the KangenTM water 10‐15 minutes prior to taking your medication,
use the Clean water to take your prescriptions, then give yourself at least 30 minutes before resuming
drinking the KangenTM water.
You will also want to use the Clean water when preparing Baby formula. It is also suggested that if you
feel the need to drink water with a meal and the meal contains a concentrated protein (animal product),
that you consume Clean water rather than KangenTM water with that meal.
Beauty water – is made by pushing the yellow button on the machine and collecting the Beauty water
from the TOP flexible hose. Alternately, it can be collected while making KangenTM drinking water. This
is accomplished by collecting the beauty water from the secondary hose (that runs from the bottom part
of your machine) while you are collecting your KangenTM drinking water from the TOP flexible hose.
Beauty water has amazing astringent properties and is extremely good for the skin and hair. Spray it on,
splash it on, soak in it...but get it on your skin if you want to have the best looking/feeling skin around!
Strong Acidic Water (2.5 pH) – is made by pushing the bottom button (orange) on your Enagic ionizer.
Note: You must add the saline Electrolysis Enhancer in the electrolysis enhancer tank (on the right side of
the machine behind the removable panel) in order to produce the Strong Acidic and Strong Alkaline
waters. Collect the Strong Acidic water out of the secondary hose (that runs from the bottom part of
your machine). This water has very potent anti‐microbial properties and may be used on cutting boards,
counter tops, etc. Strong Acidic water was approved for disinfecting food products in June 2002, in
accordance with the Food Hygiene Law, under the name hypochlorous acid water. I like to use large
spray bottles for the Strong Acidic water because it makes it easier to use on the skin, countertops,
produce, etc. Note: It is best to store this water in dark containers and refrigerate it.
Strong Alkaline Water (11.5 pH) – The Strong Alkaline water is produced at the same time as the Strong
Acidic water. Collect the Strong Alkaline water from the TOP flexible hose on the Enagic ionizer. This
water is highly alkaline and is a potent cleaning agent that can be used in place of detergents and
cleansers. It is a tremendous grease cutting agent. After cleaning your surfaces with this water, it is
recommended that you spray the Strong Acidic water (2.5 pH) on the surface as an anti‐microbial, and
then let it air dry. Note: It is best to store this water in dark containers and refrigerate it.
Specific Uses of the Various Waters
Fruits and Veggies‐ Soak (or spray on surface) in Strong Acidic water (2.5 pH) for 2 to 3 minutes and stir
water to work it into rough textured produce like lettuce, broccoli, etc. This kills microbes that might be
on the produce. When finished with this process soak in Strong Alkaline water (11.5 pH) for at least FIVE
minutes to clean the produce, remove pesticides and herbicides, and enhance shelf life.
Laundry – Put 1 to 2 quarts of Strong Alkaline water (11.5 pH) in the liquid detergent tank of your
washer and wash just as you would with detergent but without the detergent. The amount of Strong

How to Use KangenTM Water
Alkaline water is determined by your source water’s hardness. Clothes come out cleaner and brighter
than with detergents and for those with chemical sensitivities there are no side effects.
Cleaning floors – (hardwood, ceramic tiles), windows, eyeglasses, washing dishes, and many other
cleaning situations ‐ Use the Beauty water. In some cases the Strong Alkaline water (11.5 pH) works well
too.
Acne – there are a few different ways to use the water on acne, depending on the type and severity.
None of them will hurt you so if one approach doesn’t seem to be producing the results you desire try a
different one. (1) Where there appears to be inflammation and infection (outbreaks that are sore and
irritated) I recommend that one spray on the Strong Acidic water (2.5 pH) and let it air dry. When it’s
completely dried apply a cloth soaked in Strong Alkaline water (11.5 pH) to the area(s) for at least 5
minutes. This helps the body neutralize the acids which are causing the acne. Dry the area and then
spray on the Beauty water (4.5 to 5.5 pH) and allow it to dry. Repeat at least twice per day. (2) Where
there does not appear to be any inflammation or infection I’d just use the Beauty water on the area. For
best results drink at least 3⁄4 oz of KangenTM water for every pound that you weigh each day.
Psoriasis and Eczema – I’ve found that the most effective approach is the same as the one we use for
the nastier acne outbreaks. Again, this depends on severity. I’ve seen a lot of success with both
conditions just spraying on the Beauty water 3 to 6 times per day and letting it air dry. If I am working
with someone with a tougher outbreak, I recommend that they spray on the Strong Acidic water (2.5
pH) and let it air dry. When it’s completely dried, apply a cloth soaked in Strong Alkaline water (11.5 pH)
to the area(s) for at least 5 minutes. This helps the body neutralize the acids which are causing the
outbreaks. Dry the area and then spray on the Beauty water (4.5 to 5.5 pH) and allow it to dry. Repeat
at least twice per day. I highly recommend with these challenges that you spray Beauty water on the
area at least every 2 waking hours. For best results drink at least 3⁄4 oz of Kangen water for every pound
that you weigh each day.
Cuts and scrapes – Anytime the skin has been torn I recommend that you spray on the Strong Acidic
water (2.5 pH) at least once a day. This helps the immune system deal with the micro‐organisms like
bacteria, viruses, etc. that may be able to get into the body through the hole in the skin. Then soak the
wound or scrape (it may be easier to soak a cloth and apply to the area instead) for at least 3 minutes in
the Beauty water and allow it to air dry. This helps tighten the pores in the tissue and almost always
takes away the pain. For best results drink at least 3⁄4 oz of Kangen water for every pound that you weigh
each day.
Sunburns – If the sunburn is not severe enough for medical treatment spray the Strong Alkaline water
(11.5 pH) on the skin or soak a cloth in this water and apply to sunburned area. When you are finished
with that session spray Beauty water on the entire area and let it air dry before covering with clothing.
Repeat as desired. For best results drink at least 3⁄4 oz of Kangen water for every pound that you weigh
each day.

How to Use KangenTM Water
Moles, warts, etc. – If you have something abnormal on your skin you may want to try using the Strong
Acidic water (2.5 pH) on this to see what it will do. In most cases the easiest way to use is to soak the
gauze pad on a band aid with the water and apply over the area. Change bandage at least once a day.
Most people have reported that they’ve had to continue this process for 30 to 60 days before seeing
results. If it’s in an area that is difficult to apply a band aid to while you are at work or in public just
apply the rest of the time when you are at home and see if it works.
Sore Throats – When one has a sore throat we’ve learned that gargling with the Strong Acidic water (2.5
pH) 3 or 4 times per day works extremely well. If you have a child that cannot gargle just put the Strong
Acidic water in a spray bottle and spray it into their throat (10 pumps) three or four times per day. (It
will not hurt them if they swallow this water.) Typically the kids tell us that their throats are no longer
sore within minutes.
Mouthwash – use the Strong Acidic water (2.5 pH) to swish and gargle with as a mouthwash. The high
ORP of this water has been shown to destroy bacteria and other micro‐organisms with exposure times
of less than a minute. It’s the bacteria breaking down the foods in your mouth that produce the acids
that cause tooth decay.
Cooking – Kangen water (8.5 to 9.5 pH) is excellent to cook with and enhances the flavors and texture of
your food. Some fruits and vegetables such as cherries, plums, grapes, strawberries, cabbage,
eggplants, soy beans, and asparagus contain anthocyanins and are best cooked or washed in the Beauty
water. Be aware that foods cook faster than you are used to when you are using Kangen water. Be
prepared to have people asking you what you are doing to your food to make it taste so much better!

A Letter of Healing

This letter I wrote to someone whom facilitated growth and healing in my life. I found the letter and thought it appropriate to reflect on. I am grateful for the healing. This was writtend the 23rd day of June 2007. Blessed Love.

Dear Anonymous,

I feel so fortunate to have crossed your path in this life, how fun it has been getting to know you. You have assisted me to dig deeper into myself...learning new lessons. Thank you for that. As a friend I thought I would mention something. I will also preface by saying I am writing a letter instead of verbally speaking because I thoroughly enjoy writing and alot of times we all become filled with fear or defensive behavior when someone brings up hurt. This way you can absorb what I am writing and think about it. The other night our argument brought forth or stirred up bits of your past. I can only imagine how difficult it was and is to go through life with that pain. I will never know how it feels to be you but I can listen, absorb and be compassionate. However I feel strongly about my beliefs/values and path. I continually want to grow and open myself up to positivity on a spiritual path. With this being said I thought about you and all the emotional fears you have delt with due to absence of a father figure. Thank you friend for opening your heart to me and being honest. It means a great deal to me. I wonder if you have not been able to heal or find source to mend this pain. I want you and all of us to be free of suffering, we are all in this together. Your hurt is my hurt...my pain is your pain. Today as I felt and breathed in our pain as a whole I blew out peace, love clarity, strength and faith. I believe that one can only truly love themself and be loved (giving and receiving) if these fears can be acknowledged and dealt with...thus being healed in time. Other wise conflict in relationships will occur creating stress, negativity and petty fights. However, I do feel that conflict assists the souls in understanding, growing and becoming more in union. But it must be recognized and worked on otherwise constant suffering is inevitable. I thought you might find some comfort in knowing that Mr. Robert Nesta Marley was basically abandon by his father Norval. He and his mother experienced this. Bob hadto go through his entire life with this lack of a role model having profound psychological effects on him. He turned to his grand father and Coxsone Dodd (the creative center of the jamaican recording business). His grandfather Omeriah past on my folk wisdom that appears in his music. But what I am getting at is that it must have been very difficult to trust another male role model. And indeed it altered his life. But the most potent substitute for this absence was his conversion to rastafarianism. This provided a constant in his life that would NEVER betray him, pretty solid. Anytime he had a problem, he went on searching for the solution. I thought that was an interesting connection, someone I care alot about and someone whom has impacted my life in such a tremendous way through his teachings. What a beautiful parallel. You are such an amazing person with so much to give and I care enough about our friendship to dig deeper and be supportive. Always know I am here to listen and absorb, but ultimately you are the one that can unleash the fear and be present in the light. I too have my fears and growing /learning from human connection is such a beautiful thing. Much respect to the I.

The Way of the Peaceful Warrior

That book I had read some time ago and just this past Sunday I was able to connect with Dan Milman, the author of Way of the Peaceful Warrior. It brought a lot of grounding feelings into my heart as I met him and listened to him speak. I was grateful for that connection he made b/t spiritual alignment and living in today's society. I am glad I opened my ears and eyes, but more importantly my heart to the lessons that unfolded on Sunday.
Tyler and I enjoyed meeting new friends, like John originally from England, now living in Palo Alto. He has come up with a game called Paradice and many more games. We were so grateful for John's contribution to the human connection, Thank you John. We will be in touch and give your game as gifts to many souls that we meet along the journey. On the way home we listend to the Ohana compilation from last spring and stopped at Mother's for food supplies.
Tyler made the most amazing dinner that night. We enjoyed hempseed, avocado, live salsa cabbage burritos while we listened to roots music and discussed the goals of H.E.M.P..

H.E.M.P. = Supplying today's ecoconscious school systems with hemp paper to live in harmony with earth. Maybe as a signature logo coming up with a small sanskrit symbol for "inner peace" stamped on each "peace" of paper.
